Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Ormond Insignia collects, uses, and handles personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or purchase our online branding and design services.

1. Information we collect

Depending on your interaction with us, we may receive your name, business name, email address, phone number, billing details, order information, project brief, feedback, correspondence, and files you provide for your project. Please do not include sensitive personal information in project materials unless it is necessary and agreed with us.

Our website and its service providers may collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, referring pages, and cookie identifiers. Payment information is handled through checkout and payment providers; do not send full card details by email.

2. How we use information

To respond to inquiries and prepare project proposals.
To process orders, payments, and relevant billing records.
To deliver design services and communicate about projects.
To maintain website functionality, security, and support.
To comply with applicable legal and accounting obligations.
To send marketing communications where permitted, subject to your consent or other applicable legal requirements.

3. Service providers and disclosure

Our store is hosted on Shopify. Information may be processed by Shopify and providers supporting payments, hosting, communications, file storage, and project delivery. Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to protect legitimate rights and security, or in connection with a lawful business transfer.

Service providers may process information under their own applicable privacy terms. We do not authorize public disclosure of confidential project materials merely because they were submitted to us.

4. Cookies and preferences

Cookies and similar technologies support functions such as checkout, preferences, and website operation. Where optional analytics or advertising technologies are used, applicable consent requirements apply. You may manage cookies through your browser and through a consent tool where one is provided. Disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

5. Retention and security

We retain information as reasonably necessary for project delivery, customer support, recordkeeping, resolving disputes, and legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and purpose. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. International processing

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards must apply to international transfers.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, withdraw consent, or object to or restrict certain processing. Additional rights concerning targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of information may apply where those activities occur.

Contact us to submit a request. We may need to verify your identity, and legal exceptions may apply. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe mechanism provided. Service-related messages may still be necessary. Where applicable, you may complain to a privacy regulator.

8. Children and third-party websites

Our services are intended for business customers and adults, not children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us. Links to third-party websites are subject to those websites’ own privacy practices.

9. Changes and contact

We may revise this policy as our services or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.

2. Scope and project agreement

Before work begins, the order description or written proposal should identify the selected service, deliverables, included revision rounds, payment schedule, and estimated timeline. Items not expressly included, such as printing, physical production, trademark registration, paid fonts, or additional applications, are excluded unless agreed in writing.

3. Client responsibilities

You must provide accurate project information, required content, and timely consolidated feedback. You confirm that you have permission to use all materials you supply. Client delays, incomplete briefs, and changes in direction may affect the delivery schedule.

4. Payments and additional work

Payment amounts and due dates are stated at checkout or in the project agreement. Applicable taxes and disclosed charges may be added. Work outside the agreed scope requires approval of an additional quote before it is performed. We may pause work when agreed payments are overdue, after notifying you.

5. Revisions and approval

Revisions are limited to the scope and rounds specified in your project agreement. A new brief or substantially different direction may require a separate quote. Please review spelling, content, and application requirements before approving final deliverables. Approval does not remove any non-waivable rights concerning defective or nonconforming services.

6. Delivery

Services and agreed files are delivered electronically. Timelines are estimates unless a binding deadline is explicitly agreed in writing. Source files, editable templates, file formats, and application variants are included only where stated in the project scope.

7. Intellectual property

After full payment, rights in the original final custom deliverables created specifically for your project transfer to you to the extent described in the written project agreement and permitted by law. Unselected concepts, preliminary work, pre-existing tools, and methods remain ours unless expressly included.

Fonts, stock assets, and other third-party materials remain subject to their own licenses. Any required client licenses should be identified before use. We do not guarantee trademark registration, exclusivity of common visual elements, or freedom from all third-party claims. Obtain independent legal clearance before registering or extensively deploying a mark.

8. Confidentiality and portfolio use

Confidential business information provided for a project should be identified as confidential. We will not publish confidential materials or display your project in our portfolio without your permission.

9. Cancellations and disputes

Cancellation and refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy and any applicable project agreement, subject to mandatory law. Please contact us first with a description of any issue so we can seek a practical resolution.

10. Results and liability

Design and strategy services do not guarantee specific revenue, funding, conversion rates, or commercial results. To the extent permitted by law, neither party is responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the project. Nothing excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights, fraud, or intentional misconduct.

11. Changes and applicable law

Updated terms apply to future orders and do not retroactively change an existing project without agreement. Any governing law or dispute venue specified in a separate project agreement remains subject to mandatory protections that apply to you.

Refund Policy

Ormond Insignia provides custom online design, branding, and consulting services rather than physical goods. Cancellations and refunds depend on work performed and the agreed project scope. This policy does not limit rights or remedies available under mandatory law.

1. Cancellation before work begins

If you cancel before any project work or consultation has begun, payments for the unperformed service are refundable. Any separately authorized and already incurred third-party costs will be explained and may be deducted only where permitted by law and your agreement.

2. Cancellation after work begins

You may request cancellation while a project is in progress. We will provide an accounting of completed work and authorized costs. Payments attributable to work already performed are not normally refundable; any prepaid balance for work not performed will be refunded.

The completed portion will be calculated using the milestones or rates agreed for the project. We will not impose an undisclosed cancellation charge.

3. Completed services and approved deliverables

Completed consultations and final deliverables that conform to the agreed scope are not normally refundable solely because you change your mind or no longer require them. If you believe a service is defective or does not match the agreement, contact us with the relevant details. We will assess the issue and offer an appropriate correction, re-performance, price adjustment, or refund as required by the circumstances and applicable law.

4. Design preferences and revisions

Please communicate concerns during the included revision process. Subjective preference alone does not automatically establish a service defect, but we will review whether the work meets your agreed brief. Additional revision rounds or a new direction may require an approved additional quote.

5. Consultation rescheduling

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule. Any cancellation or missed-appointment conditions must be disclosed and agreed before booking. In the absence of an agreed condition, we will discuss rescheduling or a refund for an unperformed consultation.

6. If we cannot complete your project

If we cancel or cannot deliver the agreed service, we will refund payments for the unperformed portion. Where completed work cannot reasonably be used for its agreed purpose, we will assess any additional remedy required by law.

7. How to request a refund

Send your order number or project reference, the service purchased, and the reason for your request. Include relevant correspondence or examples of the issue. Do not send full payment card information. Contact ormondinsignia@outlook.com .

8. Refund processing

We will review your request and communicate the decision and calculation. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where available. The time before funds appear depends on the payment provider and your financial institution. Currency conversion differences may arise if your account uses a currency other than USD.

9. Consumer cancellation rights

Some jurisdictions provide statutory cancellation periods for online services. Any request to begin work during such a period, or acknowledgment affecting cancellation rights, must meet applicable legal requirements. This policy alone does not constitute your consent to waive those rights.
